Position description: This position will enhance the opportunities for PCUSA congregations to participate in the joint mission of the INPM and the PCUSA at Pueblos Hermanos Presbyterian Border Ministry through providing coordination/facilitation of the Mission Team Ministry.
Essential job tasks and
responsibilities:
- Assist mission teams with pre-visit planning and preparation.
- Interpret Mission Goals of PBM @ Pueblos to programme participants
- Plan, schedual, and implement activities for mission teams in accord with the goals and objectives Pueblos' Mission Participation Programme.
Mission description: Presbyterian Border Ministry (PBM)is a joint labor of the PCUSA and the National Presbyterian Church of Mexico. It is called to share a holistic gospel with those who live along the 2,000 mile US/Mexico border, by respoinding to spiritual, emotional, physical and material needs. Visiting mission groups learn about the spiritual, cultural, and social benefits of striving for mutual mission.
Programs: new church development, ministries of compassion, mission education through mission team visits and promoting justice in all areas.
